CASUAL SAILING
If you go sailing when a club activity is not taking place please sign the sailing diary in the foyer, noting boat, names of people, time launched,expected return & plans. So if an emergency occurs a rescue knows who & where to look. It is not recommended boats sail at sea alone. However if you do, please consider the conditions are suitable for your ability and boat. Ensure that you are adequately dressed and take a radio & flares. Remember if the RNLI/Coastguard are called you are endangering others

Cat Fleet

Fleet meeting to be held very early in Jan to discuss· The racing program for 2008· Whether we should run organised cruises on the tide on non race days and provide rib cover etc. if possible (this could be web based and could also include fast asymmetric monos)·
Whether you want me to continue with the Crew / Helm registers so that people short of a sailing partner for any day can easily find out if anyone was available (this could also be web based)·
Does anyone have any training needs ?·
Do we want to organise Club sortees to big cat events next year
eg Dart 18 Nationals at Poole, Fast cat round the Solent Race, The Piers Race and the F18 Nationals.·
Any Other Business including any other volunteers to be Fleet Captain.
