CASUAL SAILING
If you go sailing when a club activity is not taking place please sign the sailing diary in the foyer, noting boat, names of people, time launched,expected return & plans. So if an emergency occurs a rescue knows who & where to look. It is not recommended boats sail at sea alone. However if you do, please consider the conditions are suitable for your ability and boat. Ensure that you are adequately dressed and take a radio & flares. Remember if the RNLI/Coastguard are called you are endangering others

JUNIOR FLEET
The first Interclub Junior Regatta was held 22nd/23rd August in light winds and sunshine. Jo Powell from MSC won the first two races in full rig laser, closely followed by Joanne Arnell (topper CSC) and Jamie Tarrant (laser radial). Race 3 and 4 saw Jim Sowden return to his laser radial (from a Feva on Saturday) and take first places from Jo. 2nd and 3rd places were taken by the Sunday appearance of Dan Sowden(laser full rig) Jamie and Jo.
Also on the water were Ellie Walker (laser radial)and two of our 'new to racing' juniors Amber Sutton (laser 4.7) and Emily Paines (topper). Matt Langdown (laser radial) also joined us on Sunday.
We hope to see you all out regularly now that you have had a taste of some exciting racing. Congratulations to all of you.
