Highcliffe Sailing Club is located at the prime coastal location of Mudeford Quay allowing the club to offer sailing in the sheltered waters of Christchurch harbour and open water sailing in Christchurch Bay.
This makes it an ideal club for sailors of all abilities and aspirations. The club has a friendly and informal atmosphere.
It is predominantly a family club with members of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds. All members are expected to help with the running of the club, It's a good way to meet people and it's fun to be involved.

Open Meeting Helpers
Many thanks to all who helped at the RS Tera Open Meeting last weekend. 31 boats enjoyed two days racing. The chairman said it was the best venue they have visited so far and everyone was very welcoming. This is a great source of income for the club and over £1,000 was received in entries.
Musto Skiff Nationals (Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th June) and weekend Contender Open Meeting is the next event and help will again be needed so please contact Simon Mussell if you are able to help on the water or on dry land!
Bar Duties
If you are on bar duty and do not know the access code for the bar, please contact steward@highcliffesailing.co.uk. For security reasons, this number is only to be given to members who are on bar rota duty and no-one else.
Indian Curry Night postponed
The proposed curry night for Saturday 25th is postponed until later in the year. Please book in early for the next social to be held on 22nd June. It is imperative that Dominic knows numbers in advance for catering purposes. More details to follow soon.

Duties and Dutyman
Please please confirm your duties on dutyman and request swap in good time if you are unable to make your duty. There are already many swap requests so please try and fill one of these. It is your responsibility to carry out your duty or ensure cover.
Dinghy Park stickers are in lobby ready for collection. Please put on your boat immediately to help the warden check boats.
