After three successful years of the sailing school run by Dave Holloway we have produced a programme for 2010
The format this year will be similar to previous years catering for children aged 8 and over with group one catering for those with little or no experience this is great fun for the younger children and introduces them to the basics of sailing
Group two is aimed at develpoing sailing techniques and basic racing skills with the ultimate aim being to encourage the pupil in to joining in with harbour club racing
Whilst the school is not an RYA "recognised teaching establishment" we aim to provide a level of tuition not dissimilar to that used by RYA affiliated schools, we do rely on some parental support to the qualified instructors
Participants must be club members and need to arrive with suitable sailing wear although buoyancy aids can be provided. Tuition is provided in club owned Toppers and Laser Picos all of which are relatively new.
There are at times various items of sailing wear for sale at the clubPlaces are limited to a maximum of 10 per group and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Prices are £80 for the course.
