All members are expected to help with the running of the club, It's a good way to meet people and it's fun to be involved. Membership rates are very competitive and the club has its own dinghy park on Mudeford Quay.

Social activity is based around the club house, "Sea Vixen". Built in 1970, it makes the most of its location with views over the harbour to Christchurch and, from the upper deck and terrace, over the bay to the Isle of Wight.
