Notice to Members of Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given for the 65th Annual General Meeting of Highcliffe Sailing Club Limited to be held on Friday 28 November 2025 at 8:00pm at the Club House, Sea Vixen, Mudeford Quay, Christchurch.
Agenda
1 Commodore to open the meeting
2 Hon Secretary to give and receive apologies for absence
3 To appoint two tellers to count the members present and confirm Quorum.
4 Resolution 1. To approve the Minutes of the 64th Annual General Meeting of the Club held on 21st November 2024
5 Resolution 2. To receive the Hon Treasurers Report and approve the accounts of Highcliffe Sailing Club Limited for the year ending 30 September 2025
6 Resolution 3. To Appoint Peter Lewis, to independently review the club’s year end accounts to 30 September 2026.
7 To receive the Commodore's Report
8 To elect the Commodore - Russ Hatton
9 To elect the Vice Commodore - Jim Brown
10 To elect the Rear Commodore (Sailing) - Alex King
11 To elect the Rear Commodore (Paddling) – Mark Anderson
12 To elect the Honorary Secretary - Joanne LaRoche
13 To elect Honorary Treasurer - Frank Paines
14 Commodore to close the meeting

The Club Officials and Directors encourage all members to view the associated documents by clicking on the link below. For those members who are not attending the meeting you can complete the accompanying form of proxy or appoint your proxy. You can then cast your vote for or against each of the resolutions or use the ‘Quick Vote’ option if you are in agreement with all resolutions and elections. This will help towards the meeting quorum, ensuring the AGM can go ahead as planned.
Proxy nominations and online voting will close at 8pm on Monday 24 November 2025.
You can also access the online voting site by visiting www.mi-vote.com/secure/hsc and entering your unique voter code, which you will receive in an email from mi-vote.
